"Excellent place to stay. Situated in the middle of town. Great breakfast included with private and protected parking. The family that runs this place is wonderful. Try The Green Spoon across the street, you will not be disappointed."

"The cabin was in a pretty location on the side of a small lake — but the location doesn't match that on VRBO which states it's in La Fortuna town. It's actually several miles out of town, which was a problem for us since we didn't have a rental car and there's no public transport serving the area. The owner offered us a lift into La Fortuna on our first day, but beyond that we had to keep booking Ubers which also were quite unreliable. The cabin was nice but could do with a bit of upkeep — there were a lot of ants/termites that appeared in our kitchen and a bad smell came up through the drain in the bathroom. It's also worth noting that despite the tranquil pictures the property is next to a busy road and you can hear the traffic throughout the night."

"Very good hotel for the price. The staff were helpful and friendly, the hotel is nice and safe and has great views of the volcano. The breakfast options are good and large to set you up for the day. Would definitely recommend for people wanting to stay in La Fortuna. Was definitely nice to have so many restaurants on the doorstep. "
