Loved the location, Carlisle beach is within walking distance, also there is a great little old fort with amazing views of the sunset!
The rooms are all ocean facing so the different prices for ‘ocean facing’ rooms is just a marketing gimmick…
The staff were usually very friendly, but for a resort like this I would have expected proper tea/coffee mugs instead of the paper cups we received each day…
I did appreciate the refillable bottles of toiletries in their bathrooms, rather than tiny plastic bottles which often get taken away and just add to the environmental burden.
Our toilet flooded on a couple of occasions and it eventually got to a point where we needed to be moved to another room, but we did expect the hotel staff to help with the move and there was none of that. When we pointed this out, the reception were good enough to apologise and give us a late check out facility, which we appreciated!
All in all, a good stay. Might consider visiting again.
