The effort being made to give facility a facelift but had a cockroach in bathtub and entire facility smelled like cigarette smoke and overall run down and dated.

Room was not ready at 3 PM. Staff said that the room would be available until 11 PM. Returned at 8PM only to learn that they had given my room to another guest and to just deal with Expedia. Manager finally produced another room following much stress and discussion. Not a pleasant experience.

The room wasnt clean to begin with and then i noticed that the smoke detector was completely missing from the wall with just naked wires hanging out and there was a red stain that appeared to be blood on the shower curtain.

This is the best hotel in the area for the price. A no-frills, comfy place to stay. Housekeeping is very helpful and reliable. The managers, a lovely married couple are always professional and courteous - very nice people. Overall great experience with the best rates in town.
