"I cannot praise this listing and its very attentive owners enough. We are a large group of family and friends-who-are-like family from all over the US who gathered at the retreat primarily for the viewing of Eclipse 2024. Many of us have travelled together before but some of us were newcomers to the group and several of us had never even been to Texas before. Largely because of this very special property, everyone had an amazing trip, would travel with the same people again, would come to Texas again, and would stay at this property again. The location and property is beautiful. Each house has its own personality. Each is impeccably decorated, has a kitchen, plenty of bathrooms, and bedrooms with comfortable beds and privacy. Each kitchen is well-stocked with dishware, servingware and cooking implements. There were plenty of towels and supplies. I think this is actually the best stocked rental property I have ever stayed in, actually. We had easy access to Austin, Gruene, San Antonio and the surrounding areas. There is an HEB a short distance away for food and supplies, yet you still feel like you are in the country. The outdoor areas are organized and landscaped beautifully and there was ample outdoor seating and dining areas. We really liked the firepit with provided firewood and the horseshoe pit. Thank you, Larry and Sharon, for a wonderful stay and we hope to visit again someday:)"

"The landscaping was a little unkempt, but the inside was clean, beautiful and perfect for what we needed. The management team was understanding, flexible, and very responsive at all times. The house is practically soundproof. We were concerned about the house in the back of the property, but it wasn't an issue at all. Overall a great experience."

"We couldn't have been more pleased with our stay! The owner was incredibly responsive to all my communications, even proactive in reaching out to me to make sure we had everything we needed, and even the one minor issue we had, sent someone out late that night to address it immediately, when it could've easily waited. The location for us was perfect, as we were in town for a wedding at the Ladybird Johnson Wildflower Center, it was close to our other festivities, and Ubers were readily available for quick trips to downtown, South Congress, the Capital, etc. The house was plenty spacious, and well laid out, for our large group to never feel crowded or on top of each other. And the backyard, grounds, etc. were well maintained and added much more space. For a larger group, and even just a large family, I couldn't recommend this property, and the owner, more highly!"

"Hosted a bachlorette weekend here and it was incredible! So much room to spread out and enjoy each other. We had dinner in on night and the kitchen accommodations were perfect. We did yoga on the balcony with the quiet a breeze through all the trees and fields on the property. Very retreat feel! Highly recommend"
