It was okay
Overall we were very happy with our stay but for the money we spent some things need to be addressed to help them in the future. Some people won’t be as easy going as us.
Location is great, AC is great, fridge was great, & house was nice and cleaned.
Upon arrival the pool was filthy.. Not a huge deal but not ideal when it’s your first day of the trip. We added water to the pool, cleaned leaves and other debris out of the pool before we ever swam in it. That being said, the pool is large and a great size compared to a lot of the mini ones you see at beach houses these days.
Stickers. I know they are called something else but stickers are what comes to mind. They are everywhere in the grass. They stick to the bottom of your shoes and follow you throughout the house. There were SO many stuck in the downstairs carpet and the upstairs area rugs. I could not walk barefoot throughout the house without getting one. When you have small children on this trip this is less than ideal.
Downstairs bathroom. While taking a bath the downstairs bathroom knob completely broke off and the water continued to run. We did not call maintenance because we were able to put it back on and solve the problem, but once again not ideal when you are spending 5k plus on a trip.
Boat dock, we brought boats and it was super handy to have! We spent lots of time fishing off of the dock . Love the lights at night time. The dock has a soft spot that needs to be addressed for safety concerns.
