I travel from San Antonio to Dallas often. This hotel was one of my favorites. I was coming to watch my daughter’s track meet and arrived to hotel about 20 mins before check in time. Was told since I booked from 3rd party website I would be charged to check in earlier than 3. I waited the 20 mins and had about one hour to shower, and head to my daughter’s event. Only to find out the water was out after unpacking all of my belongings. Had to come down to tell front desk. Only to go back upstairs to get a call about having to change rooms. I gathered my things in a rush unpacked again in the new room, only to find out again no water. After a 5 hour drive I only wanted to shower and head to my daughter’s event, the reason I even was there but was unable to.

We really enjoyed this hotel, but we were unable to fully take on the entire experience. We had to leave before breakfast opened at 7. Breakfast was one of the reasons we booked, so that my daughter could eat before her game. The staff was very friendly and very helpful. My daughter thought it was pretty neat to have a tourist attraction board in the hotel. The lobby did have a slight odor when you walked in. Thanks for the stay!
