I didn’t like kids have to be 14 to swim in the pool. My son who is 7 was ready to go swimming that evening we arrived. Only to be told you have to be 14. Then I ran into another family with younger kids. They seen us with our swim stuff on a stopped be to say ……..isn’t it crazy we had no idea you can’t take your kids swimming.

Huge disappointment!!!
Booked a luxury king for our anniversary weekend (also valentines weekend) and the room was filthy. Told the front desk twice, both times I was just thanked for letting them know. Not being a "Karen", I just shook my head and walked away. Since I couldnt upgrade at check-in, I assume they were too booked to move us. Every surface was so full of dust, I wrote "wash me" on the wall when we left. Besides the condition, the room wasn't what we would expect from a $400/night room. I've stayed in $100/night rooms nicer than this. The couch was like it was made out of stiff pipe cleaners, it poked bare skin making it unusable. The "rainfall shower" is just a wide spray head in the ceiling and water pressure was low if you want hot enough water for a shower. Their sensored "room amenities" (do not even touch or you'll be charged for them because they're on sensors) block the tv sensor which forces you to get up to make a channel or volume change. There was also a spot light (the ones they use to highlight the building) pointed directly in our room so while it was cool to have a "city view" as soon as it got dark our room was lit up so we had to keep the drapes closed You arent allowed to use a luggage cart when you check out, the bellhop has to do it, then he left all our belongings unattended in the middle of the busy lobby with all our valuables out for anyone to walk by and grab. We had a late check out but we bolted early, couldnt wait for that part of our weekend to be over.
