We did not need to check in right away, which was good because our room was not ready at 4:00. Got right in later in the evening after the event we attended.

We had to wait one hour for our room to be ready. Check in was suppose to be at 4:00 and we weren’t able to get our room until 5:00. Staff was very kind, supportive and understanding. We did enjoy the hotel; disappointed hot tub was broken. We would stay here again as the location is perfect being at Canal Park, staff was very welcoming and breakfast was yummy!! We loved the renovated hotel!

On the 3rd floor, they were installing new carpet using epoxy. The odor was intense and this is a OSHA violation, no venting area. Called ftont desk and requested another floor. They did but ended up no longer having a living toom or handicapped shower. They did adlust my bill by $25.00

We were excited to return to the Suites since we stayed there years ago and loved it! It is close to everything on Canal Park. We arrived, settled in, had dinner, watched the Lions lose in the playoffs and went to bed about 11pm. Right away I knew the mattress was worn out because of the huge divit in the middle of the bed (king bed). My husband and I rolled (litterly) into the middle of the bed where we felt the boards under the mattress. We thought it would be okay because we were so tired. We went to sleep. Then woke up numerous time in the night because the mattress was a NO MATTRESS. The next morning we were shown two more rooms to consider switching to where the mattresses were not much better. We were told the hotel was scheduled for a remodel and theat they could flip the mattress if we liked. We left.
