Got there and was told my room would take about 40 minutes to clean, 5 minutes later they told me it was ready. Went in and the “non-smoking” property REEKED of cigarettes and there was piss and pubes all over the toilet seat and under the lid. Let the desk lady know we needed another room because that was unacceptable, they showed us to our second room which smelled like cigarettes again and like someone literally just ate in there and it was probably true since there was a plastic bag they put your food in laying very obviously in the closet behind the door. There was also hair in the tub and some weird grime on the toilets, I figured I could just clean it off but when I lifted the blanket and sheet on the bed it was COVERED in hair, dirt and crumbs. I immediately let the front desk lady know and she offered us a refund, which I took it ( still yet to hear anything back on that or a confirmation from Travelocity that l’ll be getting that)
We sat in the parking lot for a bit and discovered why our two rooms smelt like cigarettes. Cleaning lady was literally smoking while on the job, sat there for another hour almost and no one ever went back into that room to clean it once we told them about how dirty it was. Would leave 0 stars if possible.
