Elevators broke down daily causing long wait times
The room was fabulous as always, but the elevators kept breaking down causing long lines and wait times. Need to get them fixed permanently. This could be a serious thing in the event of an emergency, especially for those requiring assistance staying on the higher floors.

The room was spacious and quite acceptable. The one main dining facility(Cinnamons) for breakfast and lunch was closed unbeknownst to us. Elevators not working properly on this property due to some earlier fire that we were not aware of, causing totally unacceptable inconvenience. Little or no compensation was provided for the inconvenience when checking out either. Its an iconic and historic property, but I cannot really recommend a future stay to anyone here.

No housekeeping. You had to get your own replacement towels at the front desk. Hotel elevators were out of order. Expensive for what it was. In need of renovations and cleaning. One of the restaurants was closed.

Enjoyed the property, restaurants, and the sunset views. Close to beach and walkable to the park and mall. We ate at PESCA for Diner and breakfast, it was very good. We had a great stay. The only issue is they did have trouble with their elevators during our stay, and they were working on the problem.

The hotel needs to sort some things out!
This hotel was a bit of a disaster during our stay. The elevators are having major issues and long lines are often encountered. They have been trying to resolve this issue for the last month I am told. Our room had scheduled power outages 5 times during our 1 week stay and on one day we had both power and water outage. The room is large and comfortable for 2 people. The bed is VERY firm and the chair fabric was ripped. The shower had a very bad odour that they had no success to eliminate. I figured it must be from the shower curtain. It smelled like urine. They are doing only one cleaning of the room per week stay now. The only good thing is that management agreed to refund our resort fee for this terrible inconvience.
