When I first arrived they didn't have my reservation that I made on Travelocity 3 weeks prior, which didn't end up being a problem, they were good and accommodated me and got me into a room. They apologized for any mess because they were renovating, but this would have been nice to know on Travelocity before I booked this particular Hotel because the reason I returned to it was to use the swimming pool and that was not available due to renovation. Our bathroom door didn't have a door on it and the ceiling was falling apart in the bathroom so, although I understand it is tough to accommodate guess when you're doing a renovation, I would say completely finish a few rooms and put your guests in them instead of putting guests in half renovated rooms.

This was by far the worst hotel we have ever stayed in. No one told us that everything was under construction. When we questioned why the pool wasn’t heated or that the bar was closed down or why wasn’t there any breakfast? All they would claim was “we’re under construction”. The staff was very rude and unwelcoming. Multiple keys wouldn’t work and when we requested to move to a room closer to the pool after we already paid for a suite there was no refund of any sort. All the side doors opened right up and let you into the building with zero security. My kids were so excited about the pool till they went to get in and couldn’t stand the cold water. We checked it and yes it was way too cold to get in. Everything we saw was run down/broken or had been sitting there for far too long. It was a situation of just sleep and get out since most hotels were already booked for the night. We all agreed that if the health department came in they would shut them down. There was a notice (not where you check in) that the health department had shut down the pool/spa and workout area due to violations of codes. When we asked why we were not told about all of these issues the front desk guy shrugged and said “we’re under construction”.

Clean, bit run down, bed comfy, pool was freezing couldnt use. Has great potential to be brought back to its glory days!!! Beautiful wood work thru out, pool area is amazing just not usable due to freezing water. Great for a cheaper over night stay, will stay again.

Stairways smelled of pot and some other rotten BO smell. There was a skeleton of a bed bug on our bed and a live bed bug on the headboard. Lots of things were broken or damaged.

There was no breakfast, and the elephant eye bar was not open. I asked for bedding in the morning, then had to call again in the evening. I got sheets and had to call again for blankets.

This place should not even be having guests. They are transitioning to new owner and did not have breakfast, or bar, ect, only thing was the pool. The place was in terrible shape, room was falling apart. Beds were only thing that were ok. Pulling up and there was 1 car in the parking lot and it seemed so sketchy. No wonder.
