Spectacular resort! The resort is beautiful, food was good, rooms are modern and very clean. It seemed like all the rooms had good views, too. The staff was friendly and attentive. The beach was well maintained and classy. I would definitely stay here again in the future!

The service was excellent and food was great. The guest concierge Jendry was amazing. He helped us with everything and was available to answer all our questions and rest of the staff was very friendly too. Resort was very clean and tons of stuff to do with kids.

Travelled solo. I felt very safe which is a priority especially when travelling alone. The accommodations, property, pools, beach and dining were all 5-star in my opinion. The extra details in both service and grounds keeping were impeccable. I had a wonderful mini getaway and I plan to comeback again.

Overall we enjoyed our stay at the Paradisus Palma Real resort. The proximity to the beach as well as the cleanliness of the place is commendable. There are some things that we felt were not upto out expectations. But let me start with the pros 1. Right next to the beach. You can just walk across from the hotel room to the beach. 2. Quiet- the adults section is seperate from the family section so things are quiet and peaceful. You hardly hear anything but the waves when you step outside the room 3. Convenient location: not very far from the airport (35 mins drive) and right next to Punta Cana downtown.. Cons: 1. The food was bad. In every restaurant and buffet place inside the resort. I read bad reviews about the food situation here and wasn't expecting much, but those bad reviews are still an understatement to how horrible the food was. The first night we got in late and ordered food via room service. We ordered at 9:30 and the food came around 11:45. And it was a pain calling room service and asking for an update. The Japanese restaurant is a joke with the teppanyaki show more for entertainment than food. And the entertainment was not very entertaining. The other restaurants weren't any better. We found the rice always undercooked, meat overcooked, sea food raw and bland. 2. We were not contacted by the concierge till the last day of the trip. To compensate for this, after we complained, they gave us extended late check-out. (Which we appreciate though)

The facility was overall beautiful and the staff were very kind but there is room for improvement's. When I arrived I was not greeted with a glass of wine as the package that was selected upon purchase. I had to wait in line to check in which I was then brought into another room to check in which I should have started there. The room was beautiful I must say but there was a dead bug on the floor which wasn’t cleaned prior. I gave it two or three days to see if the cleaning service would notice it but they didn’t. In fact I had to call them to clean my room. Depending on the color of your arm bracelet your suppose to get a concierge which I met mine not upon arrival but two days later. He was a nice guy but he wasn’t attentive. I met a few people while I was vacationing and they were telling me that their concierge sent them activities that the facility were hosting each day. I only got one during my stay. I asked for him to book me a spa day it took him two hours to respond back and I only got an answer when I seen him walking around the facility. I was also informed that others got wine sent to the and their treats on the table were stocked when they came back to their room each day. I never got that and I asked for a bottle of wine. I wanted to go to the steak house and he again delayed with his response hours later! A friend I met took me with her and her husband. The food at two of the restaurant was amazing! Room service food was cold when you got it and the others also.
