Beautiful property

Pros: Beautiful property, lovely amenities
Location: Excellent location, however Queenstown is a Very Small town and you can walk everywhere within minutes.
This is a Beautiful property, appears as though it is new. The staff is highly trained and professional. The breakfast was lovely. Had a glitch upon check in. Was told we were getting a " Mountain View" room but it was a room with a very small French door that looked on to a vacant lot and run down property. We immediately Requested a room change and were given another room that had a wonderful view. This property is very elegant, and priced likewise. Very expensive, upscale and romantic!

5 Star experience at Sofitel, Queenstown, NZ

I thoroughly enjoyed my 3 day stay at this luxury hotel. From registration in an alcove with well-dressed, friendly receptionists at genuine desks (not counters) where you sit in a nice chair and are taken care of, then shown to your room by a gregarious but very proper staff member who explains how to work all the sophisticated lighting, expresso machine, etc. designed for your comfort, to the comfortable bed, huge bathroom spa, gorgeous view from your balcony - this is pampering at its best. I wanted a quiet room; they went out of their way to make sure everything was to my liking. The staff will book a shuttle to the airport, arrange sightseeing of your choice, suggest restaurants, tell you how to get anywhere in town, provide high speed internet for you in the business center, and just about anything you can think of they are there to help. Sophisticated, elegant and classy describes both the hotel and its staff.
