The hotel description that helped me in my decision to book it stated it was on the river walk. Which it was, but it wasn’t in an area close to the shops and restaurants. There was no bar to hang out in the hotel lobby.

Very nice property and the staff is very helpful... but two points... while it says it's on the Riverwalk, it's well removed from the "real" Riverwalk, and where most of the attractions and facilities are. Also, valet parking is available (about all there is for parking), but it is way overpriced....
