When we booked the trip this property was a Holiday Inn. We were never told the property name was or had changed after that. We only found out the day of our trip when searching for the hotel directions. The Holiday Inn business name stated it was closed indefinitely. Concerned by this we went to the Hotels page and saw that the name changed.
We were still worried yet decided to give it a chance. When we arrived for check-in we were asked if we reserved 3 separate rooms. We let the desk manager know that was not correct and it should only be for 1 room. After reviewing the saved reservation on our phone the desk clerk was able to remove the extra rooms and continue the check-in. We were given our room keys and directions to the breakfast lounge for the next day and our room location.
The property looked to be in good shape. The room was somewhat cozy for the king size bed, desk, chair, and dresser cabinets. We also noticed the bathroom door would not shut and the bath tub faucet would not stop dripping. One of the bed side tables had a drawer that would not stay closed. We later figured out it was because the floor was uneven and the table was angled down enough to cause this.
The AC unit was working well and the bed was comfortable. We both received a good rest. Breakfast the next day was a breakfast bar with 3 hot stations containing biscuits, sausage gravy, and southwest omelettes. They also had fruit, cereal, and an automated pancake station.
