Great location for walking to different areas of San Francisco. We walked to Castro (about 2 miles) and took an Uber back to the hotel later as it started raining. We also walked to China Town area (less than 1 mile) the next day. We booked the deluxe for a few $$$ more and were pleased that the room size was comparable to a modern hotel room, but with historic charm. Would definitely stay here again. Staff were helpful and the restaurant on site offered a variety of delicious options.

It is very old Property. Bathrooms are very old and dirty. Iron did not work. Needs a lot of renovations. Photos are very deceptive
