Not bad for a last minute booking
Booked online thru 3rd party source & prepaid as I had been previously told this was a good idea to prepay. On arrival was told there was an ocean front room available since our booking was orginally booked for a room a block off the beach. Was told by the front desk that the mgr could fix the booking and we would be set. Even told that the ocean front room was less cost than what we had prepaid & again told that the mgr would take care of that. On Sunday checkout, they wanted to charge us a $100 per night upgraded room fee. I was caught off guard by this since moving rooms was not our suggestion & told that the new room was even less cost than what we had prepaid. In the end, the mgr did waive the add'l charges & we paid the original booking amount. Was nice to have resolved but was told I would be contacted by the mgr or front desk on Saturday prior to our Sunday departure about any changes needed to the booking or cost. At least it got resolved. That said, the location is always a plus to staying here. Our particular room needs a little work & a little better cleanliness. The shower and drain had hair in it from previous occupants & the shower tub has a crack in it. Water pressure is low so don't expect tons of pressure in the shower. The rooms in general could use an update w/ newer fixtures than the blue counters and yellow toilet & tub. Overall, we had a relaxing weekend & enjoyed the view & local shops & retaurants.
