This property has a private beach with shallow, sandy bottom with a gradual drop, making it perfect for families with children. Enjoy beautiful lake views, beach bonfires, watch freighters passing by, and catch a sunset or two.

This fully furnished 1,750sq. ft. cottage sleeps 8 with 3 bedrooms, laundry room, a full kitchen, breakfast nook, two bathrooms and a spacious living area.

Beach front property!
Who needs to go far from home for the beach when there’s one so great in the UP of Michigan? The whole family enjoyed this great space right on Lake Michigan. Lots of room in the house so everyone could have their own space, and we had plenty of beach time right out the back door! It is also so close to many fabulous attractions. What a great find!

The cabin was wonderful although the step to the porch area and different floor height to the kitchen from the porch area took some getting used to. We did have a few stubbed toes! All in all we had a wonderful stay and would definitely go back. One board from the back of a wooden Michigan chair was broken off. We tried to screw it back in but the screws were too short. More food storage containers and towels would be much appreciated. We had to wash towels daily to accommodate the number of guests staying at the cabiin/cottage. A hammer and screwdriver would be helpful. We did leave a screwdriver that we used to try and fix the broken chair😊

View of the straits
Fun to see from the home freighters and pleasure craft going into or out of the Mackinaw Straits. Walking about 100 yards to the west there was a wonderful view of the Mackinaw Bridge.

Better than expected
We were excited to stay but upon arriving thought the house and property looked even better than what the pictures showed! The kids loved the house, the legos, and of course- the beach! It’s a great location being right across from The Deer Ranch and 6 minutes away from down town. It was a great mixture of relaxation and activities! The directions and amenities that were provided were more than adequate! Thank you so much!
