The hotel is fantastic but the staff throughout the stay were not at level we would expect. we have stayed at the Fullerton Singapore and there is no comparison on level of service.
Key areas :
We pre-ordered Champagne and Strawberries on arrival( for our daughter and her friend to have before heading off early to the Taylor Swift concert) and these didn't arrive. We advised reception and they eventually arrived after they had left for the concert. The cost of the strawberries were removed at checkout but it was disappointing for the girls not to have them as requested.
At check-in we had 1 room ready early , which was great and the staff advised that they would drop off the keys in the room for our second room once it was ready. we returned afterwards to find the keys to our room left at the front door for anyone to take!!
Breakfast staff were great and friendly.
We had lunch in the Place restaurant where we had the set lunch menu but the waitress didn't know what the set menu consisted of and had to speak to someone else before advising us. The meal was absolutely delicious and a great idea of small portion set tasing menu.
We loved the hotel and all the food and cocktails were delicious and we would have rated higher but the level of service was not to the same standard.
