We stayed here last week, after our 2nd night we noticed a bed bug on the bed, and that my partner was covered head to toe in bites. We immediately packed our things and left, informing the front desk of the issue. We were promised that management would be in touch with us, and they were a few hours later, with a promise of a full investigation of the room and that they would share that with us. Despite reaching out multiple times and being told that "management is not on site", I have heard nothing back. The last time I phoned, I said that I wanted to speak to management regarding the bed bug situation in our room to which the front desk person stated "we are still investigating that" and then proceeded to ask for my room number and personal information, leading me to believe that this is not an isolated incident and there have been numerous complaints. Not only this, but if you are planning to spend time in your hotel room during the day while they are doing construction in the garage, don't. You will not be able to have a conversation over the noise from the jackhammering in the garage - even upstairs! If you are a gold member and expect to receive any of your perks, you won't, even when they are available. There are much better options for hotels near this location, as mentioned by many friends. I spend dozens of nights a year in hotels and have not once complained nor left a bad review, but I feel others should be aware of this.

Excellent location. Very walkable to lots of restaurants. It's also nearby the library and public bus lines that can take you places like Stanley Park. Parking in the hotel was not a problem, despite their warning of construction. There are also plenty of other paid lots nearby; some cheaper than the hotel. There are free Nespresso makers in the lobby and in your room, which is a nice amenity. Speaking of amenities, the gym is usable (dumbbells, bike, functional trainer, yoga mat, etc.). Also, there is a yoga mat in your room (morning stretching anyone?) along with slippers and a robe. The second floor has a business center and a hot tub dry sauna next to the gym, which are both really nice and relaxing. The hotel is very quiet (everywhere) and made for a wonderful, relaxing stay. Attached is Frankies, which is a good Italian restaurant and jazz club. Get tickets to a Jazz concert early, as the popular artists will sell out.

We booked this place last minute because our original hotel was AWFUL. It was more spendy, but worth it. The staff was super nice, the hotel was beautiful, and the beds were extremely comfy. I liked the bathroom vanity being LARGE because there were two of us. Thanks so much for an amazing stay, and saving us from a horrible vacation!
