Port Description

St. John's, Antigua

Two earthquakes couldn't keep the people of colorful St. John's from rebuilding their cathedral, the first sight for many visitors of Antigua's capital city. St. John's buildings put Easter eggs to shame, with colors exploding from every wall, beam, and door. The locals are always out and about, relaxing in the lazy sunshine playing games and selling their goods at the popular farmers market on the weekends. Everyone is so friendly that if you see a man with a donkey on the side of a dirt road trying to open a coconut, he might offer you some.
