Port Description

General San Martin, Peru
If you liberate an entire country, guess it's fair to have a port named after you. General San Martin was the hero of South America, ending Spanish rule in Argentina, Chile, and Peru. San Martin helped the united Argentinian-Chilean army liberate those respective countries before proceeding to Lima in July, 1821 and announcing the independence of Peru. His legacy has been passed down through the ages, with an entire region of Peru bearing his name and his influence marked on the national flag. Today, General San Martin, the port, is one of the most thriving harbors in the entire country.
