Carnival Destiny - Ship Description
Three football fields long, Carnival Destiny offers plenty of space for everyone. Passengers onboard this Fun Ship enjoy two-level dining halls, a two-tiered dance club, a three-story show lounge, and four pools (including one just for kids)--plus a pretty wild waterslide. And, the ship's nine-story glass-domed atrium provides a unique place to meet friends or enjoy a quick drink while listening to live music.
Activities onboard range from soothing treatments at Spa Carnival to high-energy music in one of the ship's many lounges. The onboard fitness area features saunas, hot tubs, and a steam room, plus exercise equipment. Classes are offered in aerobics, and there's even a jogging track onboard. The ship's main boulevard is lined with inviting shops, and the ship's library offers a place to get another book to read by the pool. Kids and teens onboard get to enjoy the special facilities and activities of Camp Carnival (for children, ages 2-11), Circle "C" (for kids 12-14 years old), and Club O2 (for teens, ages 15-17). They can mingle with cruisers their own age in their own wading pool, computer lab, arts-and-crafts center, and massive Children's World play area.
Entertainment comes in many forms and takes place on many of Carnival Destiny's decks. Lavish Las Vegas-style productions are staged by professional performers in the Palladium Show Lounge. Lounges can double as venues for live music, and a Grecian-themed piano bar encourages guests to sing along to all the old favorites. Sports fans can watch the game at the All Star Bar, and dancers can show off all their best moves in the Point After dance club. When it's time to dine, there are plenty of options according to your mood. Whether you want to have a sophisticated experience in one of the main dining rooms, or casually graze the buffet on an outdoor deck, the choice is yours.
