Pride of America - Ship Description
With 100 percent U.S. officers and crew, Pride of America is inspired by America's diverse regions. From the Capitol Atrium to the Hollywood Theatre, the ship features amenities and public rooms that reflect the country's most celebrated images and neighborhoods. Even the hull of the ship is decorated in vibrant stars and stripes artwork.
Original works of art line the walls of the ship's Soho Art Gallery, and quaint 1900s New England shops line the ship's Newbury Street shopping area. Landscaped gardens and live exotic birds beckon from the innovative Conservatory, and the swimming pools and sunning areas of the ship's large South Beach area make it easy to relax the day away. For pure pampering, the Santa Fe Spa and Fitness Center offers a variety of body and beauty treatments, plus plenty of room for group exercise classes and a full array of fitness equipment, including a tennis court. Children enjoy the activities of Rascal's Kids Center and Kid's Pool, designed around a theme of America's native animals.
With eight restaurants and nine different menus every night, passengers can choose from the ship's two main dining rooms, or opt for an intimate evening in one of specialty restaurants. The wide array of options encompasses everything from casual to formal, indoors to al fresco, and includes French cuisine, Texas-style specialties, Asian fusion, a 1950s diner, an Italian eatery, and a taste of the tropics at the Aloha cafe. For entertainment options, the ship features 10 exciting bars and lounges, and a main theatre staging Broadway-style productions.
