Crown Princess - Ship Description

The new Crown Princess takes over the name of a Princess vessel that left the fleet in 2002. Like its sister ship the Caribbean Princess, the Crown Princess is tailor-made for sailing the sunny Caribbean. The ship features "Movies Under the Stars," a cruising innovation where concert footage or recent movies play poolside on a giant Times-Square style screen. Other highlights include a piazza-style atrium, even more dining venues, and redesigned public spaces.

Passengers are invited to enjoy a wide spectrum of offerings, including several pools, a putting course and golf simulator, lounges, a casino with private cocktail lounge, an Internet cafe, and a wedding chapel. Onboard, fitness enthusiasts will love the glass-walled fitness center and premium workout equipment. Ideal for relaxation, the two-story Lotus Spa showcases a juice bar, health spa, and full-service spa treatments. Additionally, family travel is made easy with family suites, two age-specific youth areas, and a full-time staff dedicated to youth activities.

Personal Choice dining aboard Crown Princess includes the main dining rooms as well as specialty restaurants. An open, theatre-style kitchen puts cooking on full display at the Steak and Seafood house, and Trattoria Sabatini serves eight-course Italian feasts from atop the ship. Multiple after-dinner entertainment alternatives are found in the state-of-the art lounges--including Crooners, a martini lounge--and a theater featuring top-of-the-line sound and lighting technology.
