Norwegian Epic - Ship Description

The Norwegian Epic is all about customized experiences and thoughtful amenities. Gone are the days of choosing a stateroom from three simple categories (inside, balcony, and suite). Guests on Norwegian Cruise Line's newest ship can choose from Courtyard Villas, spa staterooms, and studio staterooms, as well as cabins in the classic categories. Plus, all staterooms offer a minimalist New Wave design, featuring rounded walls and soothing colors, and innovative three-part bathrooms--splitting up the shower, sink, and toilet areas for easier accessibility.

The most exciting innovation on the Norwegian Epic is the ship-within-a-ship Courtyard suite complex. Courtyard Villas are situated on the top deck and feature their own exclusive pool and garden area, plus a nightclub for members only called Halo, the Über Bar. At the other end of the spectrum, guests on a budget can stay in one of the new studio staterooms. At just 100 square feet, these cabins are compact, but they feature a daring design scheme and a window overlooking the Courtyard. Plus, each studio stateroom comes with access to a shared hang-out space called the Living Room--a two-floor lounge with a bar, two large TV screens, comfy seating, and a concierge to book dinner reservations and shore excursions. And spa suites and staterooms offer unlimited access to the spa's facilities and a Zen-like décor.

When it comes to dining, nightlife, and entertainment, the Norwegian Epic isn't afraid to break the mold. For this ship, NCL has eliminated the typical promenade of shops and restaurants and developed lounge and dining areas that morph into different vibes throughout the day and into the night. Posh is a sleek open-air club on the pool deck that becomes a sexy nightclub when the stars come out. And H20 is a poolside restaurant that becomes a dazzling venue with acrobats and live entertainment at night. The Norwegian Epic also offers the first Scandinavian-style ice bar at sea. Guests don heavy coats and drink libations from glasses made of ice in a room carved from huge sheets of ice. And if you're looking for the ultimate in exclusivity, book a Courtyard Villa and gain access to Halo, the Über Bar.
