Costa Deliziosa - Ship Description

Costa Deliziosa happily bucks the "bigger is better" cruise trend, offering a smaller, sleeker alternative to big ships like the Costa Concordia. Deliziosa can pass through narrower channels like the Panama and Suez Canals, servicing exotic destinations that larger ships can't. Despite the smaller size, you'll still enjoy the same spacious suites and grand entertainment available on Costa's other vessels. Choose from cozy standard cabins to the ultra-plush Panorama--a 672 square-foot room complete with wraparound balcony, chaise, dining table, and a luxurious bathroom with Jacuzzi tub.

The centerpiece of the Costa Deliziosa is the two-level Samsara Spa. This Asian-inspired oasis specializes in thalassotherapy--treatments that use seawater, marine mud, and other oceanic elements. Tried-and-true therapies abound as well, from massages and facials to soaks and saunas. Or, check in to one of the spa-focused Samsara suites and cabins for direct, private access to the spa, an in-room aroma diffuser, and ayurvedic tea kettle. Standard cabins come with a private bath and flat-screen TV, while mini-suites offer upgraded furnishings and a pillow menu.

When night falls, the Deliziosa comes alive. Guests can enjoy an expertly-prepared entree at the ship's official dining room, Ristorante Albatross, or pay a little extra for a posh meal at Club Deliziosa. When it comes to dessert, Caffeteria Sugar offers both decadent chocolates and delicious coffee creations. Evening entertainment options range from elegant musical productions at Teatro Duse to electric dancing at the Altair Disco. Plus, check out the Grand Prix driving simulator or strap on a pair of Skorpion Quadline Rollerskates for a different kind of thrill. There's plenty of fun for all ages onboard the Deliziosa.
