One of the top 20 resorts in Mexico according to Conde Nast (2007)Pueblo Bonito Emerald Bay is an all-suite luxury resort set on 20 pristine acres overlooking the Pacific Ocean in the area known as New Mazatlan, approximately 40 minutes from the airport.

The resort is designed as a village of freestanding villas carefully integrated into a stand of 150-year-old mangrove trees. Amenities include two free-form pools, two Jacuzzis, a children's pool area, and a fitness center. Free shuttle service to the nearby Pueblo Bonito Mazatlan, a sister property located in Mazatlan's Golden Zone, runs daily, every hour from 8am-8pm. Other services include babysitting, salon services, massage and facial treatments, daily activities, deli and convenience store, purified water, concierge, dry cleaning and laundry service, parking, and on-call medical services.

La Cordeliere offers international cuisine and festive theme nights in an indoor/outdoor setting with ocean view. Located in the main lobby, Kelly's Piano Bar is decorated in fine woods and handcrafted furnishings. The bar features a unique collection of African and Asian hunting trophies and offers hors d'oeuvres, light foods and an extensive menu of martinis, fine tequilas, wine and spirits. Other on-site dining and eating options include the poolside Emerald Grill, two swim-up bars and 24-hour room service.

The resort's 258 suites are arranged in Hacienda-style villas. All rooms offer private balconies or terraces with ocean views, air-conditioning, satellite TVs, direct-dial telephones, in-room safes, radio alarm clocks, irons and ironing boards, hairdryers, and fully-furnished kitchenettes with refrigerators, stovetops, coffeemakers, toasters, microwaves, blenders, dishes, and eating/serving utensils for four. Master Suites include a separate living room area.
