The Marriott overlooks Newport Harbor and the ocean from its perch 2 miles above the beach. It is centrally located, across the street from the upscale Fashion Island Mall, one mile from Balboa Island and approximately five miles from Orange County/John Wayne Airport. Newport Harbor is one mile away, Verizon Wireless Amphitheater is 11 miles away, and Edison Field, Disneyland, Queen Mary, and Knott's Berry Farm are within 17 miles of the hotel.
