Nestled amidst lush vegetation and rustling palms, the Tides Zihuatanejo is an intimate and luxurious tropical paradise, located on the white sands of Zihuatanejo*s tranquil Playa La Ropa, just six miles from Ixtapa-Zihuatanejo International Airport.

The property features four swimming pools including an infinity pool that appears to flow directly into the ocean, two tennis courts, a spa, a fitness center, and watersports equipment rental. Arrangements can be made for golf, horseback riding, snorkeling, diving, windsurfing, sailing, water-skiing, and deep-sea fishing.

La Villa Restaurant features Pacific-Mexican cuisine with an emphasis on local ingredients and only the freshest seafood. La Marea serves Mediterranean and Mexican fare for lunch and dinner in a casual setting. The pride of Tides Zihuatanejo; lunch on the beach, is served at a white linen-set table under a private palapa, right next to the beach chairs. Room service is also available.

The hotel offers 70 rooms, tucked away in several two-story casitas amidst luxuriant tropical gardens filled with coconut trees, bamboo, bougainvillea, and hibiscus. A stream runs through the property, encircling small islands and splashing as waterfalls or fountains into several pools. All rooms and suites feature king-size beds, balconies or terraces with hammock, telephones, satellite TV, air-conditioning, ceiling fans, minibars, and electronic safes.

Superior and Deluxe rooms have garden views and balconies or terraces with hammocks. Lagoon suites feature lagoon views, separate sitting areas, and terraces with outdoor infinity minipools. Beach suites are individually designed and offer private terraces with ocean views, private outdoor infinity minipools, double-sized chaise lounges, and extra-large hammocks.
