El Cid Marina Beach is a Mediterranean-style resort located on the marina in Mazatlan's Golden Zone, approximately 3 miles from downtown Mazatlan and 12 miles from the Mazatlan Airport. This resort offers both all-inclusive and room only plans.
Amenities include the secluded beach, which is reached by a short water taxi shuttle, a whirlpool, mini-golf and two swimming pools featuring cascades, slides, grottos, underwater caves, a swim-up bar and a lagoon area for children. Guests have access to facilities at all four resorts in the El Cid complex, including a wide variety of restaurants, bars, entertainment, shops and activities. Golf, tennis and a health club are available nearby.
The property features an international restaurant overlooking the marina and ocean, a poolside snack bar, a beach snack bar, a lobby bar and a swim-up bar. Additional hotel services include room service, playground, outdoor game area, babysitting, currency exchange, car rental and laundry/dry cleaning service.
The optional all-inclusive plan includes accommodations, all meals at on-site restaurants (surcharge applies for specialty dishes), domestic and international drinks (house brands), access to the all-inclusive features at the nearby El Cid Castilla Beach hotel such as the disco, activities, theme dinners and Kids Club, and all taxes and gratuities. The all-inclusive with golf plan also includes unlimited green fees at El Cid Golf & Country Club (mandatory caddy not included).
The 200 rooms are located in 11 Mediterranean-style buildings arranged in a half-moon layout surrounding the marina. The ample rooms have private balconies, tiled floors, air conditioning, ceiling fans, satellite TVs, telephones, in-room safes, purified tap water, irons and ironing boards, hairdryers, kitchenettes with refrigerators, microwaves and coffeemakers, and bathrooms with showers. Junior Suites offer two double beds. One Bedroom Suites offer one king-sized bed.
