The Ledgelawn Inn is in the heart of the historic corridor of Mt Desert St and is the oldest residence along this historic corridor. It was constructed in 1904. One of Bar Harbor's last remaining summer cottages is now an elegant inn in the tradition of an intimate European hotel. This historic inn is within Bar Harbor's historic corridor and just a short walk to shopping, and dining.

Facilities include the original inn with 21 rooms and the recently constructed Carriage House with 12 rooms. Relax in the cozy lounge with your favorite libation or sit out on the verandah and enjoy the refreshing Bar Harbor air. Outstanding service is a hallmark.

Rooms have various configurations: one double bed, two double beds, queen or king beds. All rooms have air-conditioning, private bath, many with whirlpool tub. Some rooms feature a sauna and many have working fireplaces. In-room telephones and TVs are also available.
