The Aston Mahana at Kaanapali offers stunning views of the Pacific and the neighboring islands of Lanai and Molokai, and is approximately 32 miles from Kahului Airport. Taxi fare from airport is approx $70. Local attractions include Kaanapali golf courses and Whalers Village, three miles away, Lahaina Town, approximately five miles away, Kapalua golf courses, six miles away, and the Maui Ocean Center, located 19 miles from the resort. Convenience store located across the street.

Snorkeling may be arranged at the resort, and a variety of sea life, including dolphins, sea turtles and rays, can be found in a reef just offshore. The outdoor swimming pool and sundeck features views of the Pacific. Guests have unlimited free access to the two onsite tennis courts, and a fitness center is also available to aid guests in maintaining their exercise regimens while away. Amenities include a kids' program, room charge-back at some local restaurants, free parking, children's welcome amenities, daily housekeeping, tour desk, shuffleboard, barbeques, and dry cleaning services.
