Located in the picturesque town of Manitowoc, the Econo Lodge is less than a mile from Lake Michigan, where one can enjoy sailing along the smooth waters or enjoying the shores of this Great Lake. Visitors can take a cruise aboard the Lake Michigan Carferry, home of the S.S. Badger, that offers sightseeing tours, dining options and entertainment areas. Point Beach, South Beach and the Manitowoc Marina are minutes away. The Woodland Dunes Nature Center is nearby and features acres of marshlands, swamps, sandy fields, meadows, wooden bridges and more than seven miles of hiking trails for you to explore. A number of entertainment venues, shopping malls, specialty stores, restaurants and cocktail lounges can be found in the surrounding area; some are within walking distance.
