The Holiday Inn Harrisburg East is located off the PA Turnpike, six miles from the Harrisburg International Airport. Local attractions include Hersheypark, Chocolate World, Hershey Outlets, Hersheypark Stadium, Hersheypark Arena and the Giant Center. Within three miles of the hotel are City Island, State Capitol Building, Museum of Scientific Discovery, Strawberry Square, Dauphin Highlands Golf Course, Witaker Center for Science and Arts, and Fort Hunter Mansion.
Recreational activities include indoor pool, outdoor pool, hot tub, two lighted tennis courts, and a all sports court. The hotel also has complimentary parking, guest laundry facilities, a business center, gift shop, and newsstand.

Season's Restaurant features standard American cuisine for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and is adjacent to Off Seasons Lobby Lounge, with a casual atmosphere. Catering is also available for functions in any of the 17 meeting/banquet rooms. Hotel services include copying, facsimile, PC and printer service, and wake-up calls. There is 25,000 square feet of meeting space including 17 meeting and banquet facilities to accommodate five to 500 people.
