Located on the sunny side of the Monterey Peninsula beyond the coastal fog belt, Carmel Valley Ranch Resort is surrounded by 400 acres of secluded woodland and landscaped gardens. Nestled in the foothills of the Santa Lucia Mountains, and centrally located in sunny Carmel Valley, the resort is surrounded by plenty of activities and attractions such as the Carmel-by-the-Sea shopping district, Monterey Bay Aquarium, Big Sur coastline, 17-Mile Drive, whale watching, world class hiking trails, deep sea fishing, phenomenal ocean sunset views and a huge concentration of wine tasting rooms surrounded by vineyards.

The resort's mild year-round climate encourages year-round outdoor activity. Onsite diversions include a newly renovated Pete Dye designed championship golf course, award-winning Peter Burwash tennis programs on 12 hard and clay courts, fitness center, two outdoor heated pools, winding trails for hiking and running, as well as a variety of revitalizing in-suite spa services.

All rooms feature high-speed Internet access, coffeemakers, clock radios, hairdryers, irons and ironing boards, dataports, cable TV, in-room movies, and Golden Door Spa Toiletries. Prior to the completion of your reservation, you'll see a Taxes & Fees line that includes an amount equal to the property's resort fee of 25.00 USD per day (27.63 USD including tax recovery charge), that will then be included in the total charge. The fee includes all gratuities for bellmen, hosts, housekeepers, drivers, valets, concierge, and all other service personnel (excludes gratuities for spa services, food and beverage), self parking, daily newspaper delivery (Monterey Herald M-S, NY Times M-Sat.), access to the fitness center, and resort transportation.
