This 316-room hotel is rapidly building a reputation for service excellence among business and vacation travelers. The property has the look and feel of a first class hotel...but without the high cost another hotel may charge that offers the same services. Whether you are traveling for business or pleasure you will be able to relax, unwind at the President Abraham Lincoln Hotel. The hotel replaced all mattresses and bedding in the summer of 2008. Of note at the property is Globe Tavern, which has a special connection to Abe and Mary Todd Lincoln when they lived in Springfield. Secondly, when Obama frequented Springfield, this was his hotel of choice.
