Within easy reach around San Luis Obispo County are historic missions, Hearst Castle, wildlife sanctuaries, a hundred wineries, antique shops and great golf, making Dolphin Bay an ideal home base for day touring.

Offering not mere rooms, but residences, Dolphin Bay Resort and Spa is truly the place that luxury calls home. Guests have a choice of spacious one- or two-bedroom residences, with living and dining rooms, well-equipped gourmet kitchens, walk-in closets, entertainment systems with flat-panel televisions, CD and DVD players and surround-sound.

The Lido Restaurant and Bar, whose centerpiece is a dramatic light sculpture of Murano glass, features California Coastal Cuisine created by Chef Evan Treadwell with an emphasis on locally-produced food and wine.
