The Vizcaya Hotel occupies a restored Victorian mansion in Sacramento, approximately two miles from the Sacramento Convention Center, State Capitol, and downtown Shopping Plaza. The small hotel lies adjacent to the Vizcaya Pavilion, an expansive event space surrounded by gardens, flower beds, three fountains, and a gazebo. The hotel welcomes groups, weddings, banquets, and corporate retreats. Guests will be able to reach the Sacramento International Airport in approximately 13 miles.

Guests receive a complimentary continental breakfast with their room rate. There is a reception bar in the lobby. The Vizcaya's sister hotel, the Sterling, welcomes guests to its fine dining restaurant approximately two miles away. For gourmet sandwiches at lunch or fine California cuisine for dinner, Chanterelle Restaurant is a convenient destination for an elegant meal.

There are nine rooms on three floors. Carriage House rooms with fireplaces and skylights are available. Decor features designer furnishings and fabrics. Guests will find a marble bathroom, Jacuzzi tub (most), bathrobes, bath amenities, and fresh flowers in every room.
