The Casa Munras is conveniently located in historic downtown Monterey just a few blocks from Fisherman's Wharf, and 2 miles from the Monterey Bay Aquarium. The Casa Munras is steeped in history, as it was built around the original hacienda of Don Esteban Munras, the last Spanish diplomat to California. The hacienda was built in 1824 and was one of the first built outside the Royal Presidio of Monterey.

With 171 guestrooms on 4 acres of gardens, the newly renovated hotel also offers a restaurant and lounge, conference space, fitness room, outdoor heated pool, and complimentary guest parking. All guestrooms feature complimentary wireless high-speed Internet access, DVD player, Lather bath and body products, Boston Acoustics Radios with MP3 Capabilities, and premium Featherborne beds. The Casa Munras' brand new restaurant and bar, Esteban, serves Mediterranean style tapas cuisine. Esteban is open for lunch and dinner and is complete with a full bar and heated patio dining.
