The Bert Hinkler Motor Inn, located on Takalvan Street, heading to the CBD from Childers, is a 4 star motel, consisting of a mix of 32 ground floor air conditioned units, the biggest in Bundaberg, some with adjoining rooms, cable TV - Austar with Fox Sports 1 and 2 - and suites, all surrounded by tropical gardens with approximately 1000 golden cane palms. Our fully licensed bar and restaurant is large enough to cater for special celebrations. Additionally we cater for functions and conferences in our upstairs Function Room. Local Attractions - close to the start of the Great Barrier Reef, Lady Musgrave and Lady Elliott Islands - great day trips, swimming and snorkeling. Whale watching in season. Turtle nesting and hatching. The Bundaberg Rum Distillery.
