Their philosophy is that a vacation is all about spending time with family and friends and that it is best achieved by eliminating everyday distractions. This is why at White Sands you will not find televisions, telephones and internet connections in the rooms.

Rest assured there is a telephone in the front office, all major US cell phone carriers roam in Jamaica, or you can rent a cell phone while you are there. They offer free wireless access by the front office for those with a laptop and there is a television at the beach bar.

In a way White Sands challenges their guests to disconnect from their everyday working lives and reconnect with those near and dear to them.
