This property is three miles north of the downtown area, and approximately 40 miles from the Theodore Francis Green State Airport. This hotel is one mile from the Naval Academy and the Naval Underwater Center. It is two miles to the Tora Synagogue and the Newport Tennis Hall of Fame.

Built in 1959, the Newport Inn's amenities include free parking, glass-enclosed pool, fitness center, game room, laundry facility, 24-hour front desk, dry cleaning, express check in, wake-up calls, limited business services, a hair salon on site and spa services. Deluxe Continental Breakfast is served daily.
