This expansive resort offers its own private beach and marina, and is located in Mission Bay Aquatic Park, only blocks from the Pacific Ocean, approximately seven miles from San Diego International Airport, and eight miles from downtown San Diego. SeaWorld® is only two miles away, La Jolla is about six miles, and the San Diego Zoo is about nine miles.

Guests may enjoy the outdoor heated pool, Jacuzzi, fitness center, gift shop, video arcade, and two lighted tennis courts. Sports equipment such as in-line skates, bicycles, wetsuits, boogie boards, rafts, paddleboats, kayaks, powerboats, and wave runners are available for rental. Dining is available onsite at the Bahia Cafe, which provides indoor and open-air seating. For drinks, guests may patron the Tangier Bar, which offers live piano music, or set sail on the hotel's complimentary cocktail cruise, the Bahia Belle, featuring dancing, DJ's, and live music.
