The relaxed atmosphere is like that of a private house with an open fire burning in the hearth and tea or coffee with home-baked cakes, scones, and pastries offered to guests upon arrival. The natural beauty of the area with the Caledonian Canal, Glen Affric, Strath Glass, beaches, and forest attract many walkers and a host of leisure activities from horseback riding to skiing, that can be arranged at the hotel.

QUALITY LOCAL PRODUCE. THE HOTEL HAS ITS OWN
KITCHEN GARDEN AND GROWS SOFT FRUITS, LETTUCE,
HERBS AND VEGETABLES IN SEASON. ALL THE CHUTNEYS
AND JAMS AS WELL AS THE PUDDINGS, HOME-BAKING AND
PETIT FOURS ARE ALL FRESHLY PRODUCED ON-SITE. THE
RESTAURANT IS A NON-SMOKING RESTAURANT.
