Ideally situated in the center of town, the Edward Lear Hotel is located within a short walking distance fromHyde Park and the world famous shopping thoroughfare Oxford Street with all of its amenities. This privately run hotel was the former home of the famous Victorian artist poet, Edward Lear.

Metered parking is available outside the hotel and the nearest car park is a NCP close to Paddington Station which is within good walking distance. There is also an exquisite library holding many of Lears original works. The hotel features no-smoking rooms, heating, and luggage storage. Wired Internet is available in public areas and is free of charge. Pets are not allowed.

The hotel comprises 31 rooms all with color TV, direct dial telephones, and tea/coffee making facilities. The rooms are available with and without ensuite bathrooms.

The hotel requires a minimum of a two-night stay over the weekend and of a three-night stay over New Years Eve. Unfortunately the hotel does not have a lift.
