Hawks Cay is a luxury Florida Key's Resort located on 60 tropical acres on the secluded island of Duck Key. Surrounded by the Gulf of Mexico and the Atlantic, Hawks Cay is located halfway down the Florida Keys. Key West Int'l Airport is a 1 hour drive, Miami Int'l Airport is 2 hours and Fort Lauderdale Int'l Airport is 3 hours. The resort is also accessible by private boat and the 85 slip full-service marina can accommodate vessels up to 110 ft in length.
Hawks Cay is an island paradise. The waters around the resort offer some of the world's best fishing and water sports (including jet skiing, water skiing and wakeboarding, snorkeling, scuba and snuba, parasailing and kayaking). There is also a private saltwater lagoon, where guests can swim with the resort's dolphin family. Guests can also dive into one of 5 pools, including the kids Pirate Ship pool. There are also 6 tennis courts, biking trails, kids and teen clubs, a full service spa, fitness center and 5 restaurants featuring world-renowned chefs. Other amenities include concierge services, room service and a 24 hour business center. Hawks Cay recently underwent a $35 million renovation and was named the #2 Florida resort and #32 resort in the U.S. in Travel and Leisure Magazine?s World?s Best Awards for 2009.
Hawks Cay offers a wide variety of accommodations from luxurious guest rooms to 2 or 3 bedroom luxury villas. The property features 177 guest rooms and suites and over 100 Preferred Villas. All of the guest rooms and suites offer West-Indies style decor and feature luxury bedding, LCD TVs, mini-fridge, In-room safe, hair dryer, his and hers bathrobes, dual-line phones and internet access. All of the Preferred Villas feature stylish decor, newly renovated kitchens with stainless appliances and granite counters, oversized decks (most with water views), luxury bedding, LCD TVs, separate dining area, washer and dryer, private parking and intra-resort shuttle service.
