What you should know:- The Newport Beachside Hotel & Resort is 100 percent non-smoking.
- The resort's private pier is currently closed and only a portion is open to pedestrian traffic at this time. Fishing is not permitted. Please note the resort charges a $12 per-night, per-room resort fee which will be collected by the hotel at checkout. This fee includes use of the following: unlimited use of beach lounges and chairs, full resort activities program for children and adults, free local calls, free first 20 minutes of 1-800, live entertainment throughout the hotel, admission to beach playground, health club and activity center, complimentary local newspaper at Cappuccinos Monday-Saturday, free wireless internet access, in room safe and coffee maker, and complimentary incoming faxes. The Newport Beachside Hotel and Resort is located directly on the Atlantic Ocean, within minutes of Aventura Mall and Bal Harbour Shops, and approximately 15 miles from Miami and Ft. Lauderdale International Airports.
Hotel amenities include full range of watersports, fitness center, beauty salon, beach playground, and children's activity center. In addition, the property has recently completed a multi million dollar public space renovation. The 20,000 square feet pool deck has been completely refurbished with Saturnia Tile, included in this is the famous Coconut Bar where you can relax and enjoy the sunsets. The hotel boasts four dining venues including the new Kitchen 305 offering an exciting and unique dining experience where creative plating techniques showcase distinctive gastronomic American-eclectic fare at its best. Under the direction of Executive Chef Julius Brown, there are ample choices to please any palate on the A la Carte menu as well as with the very affordable fixed price Chefs Menu. Children accompanying their parents can enjoy family dining at Kitchen 305 while ordering off the Kids Menu. Weekly events include Wired Wednesdays and Entre Saturdays, where resident DJs spin the latest music from the 80s, 90s, and today. Reservations are highly recommended and hotel guests receive preferred seating. Valet parking is available for $15 per night and self parking is available for $10 per night.
