With Cinderella's Castle and much of the Magic Kingdom® Park in plain view, Disney's Contemporary Resort features a modern design and an interior monorail station and is located 26 miles from Orlando International Airport. Local attractions also include Epcot® and Disney-MGM Studios. All Walt Disney World® Theme Parks are reachable from this resort via monorail, ferry, or bus.
Guests who want to hit Disney's Magic Kingdom® Park bright and early don't even have to exit this hotel for express monorail service to the park's entrance. This lakeside resort features a white-sand beach, perfect for soaking up the sun or playing a round of volleyball. Rent a manual or motorized boat at the marina and sign up for professional instruction at Sammy Duvall's Watersports Centre (for a fee). Fitness buffs are invited to use the exercise equipment at the Olympiad Fitness Center, or go for a brisk run on the resort's scenic jogging trail. Two heated swimming pools and a whirlpool are also located at the resort. Massages can be arranged in the fitness center. Additional amenities include babysitting services, self- and valet parking, laundry facilities, and laundry services. Dining options include West Coast cuisine at the fine dining restaurant - California Grill, buffet-style Character dining at Chef Mickey's, the sophisticated menu of the Concourse Steakhouse, and the 24-hour Food and Fun Center, also featuring a video arcade.
With Extra Magic Hours, guests staying at a Walt Disney World® Resort have even more chances to experience the magic.
