What you should know:

Property Closed starting October 1st for emergency renovations. Target reopen date is December 15th.

To get to Tambor Beach you can either fly from San Jose to Tambor or drive to Puntarenas city and from there take the Ferry to Paquera and then a ground transfer to the Barcelo Playa Tambor, Costa Rica.

Barcelo Tambor All Inclusive Hotel offers scheduled transfers (via ferry) for an extra charge. The transfer from San Jose leaves at 5:30am from Barcelo San Jose Palacio and the transfer back to San Jose leaves at 11:30am from Barcelo Tambor Beach Hotel, Costa Rica (times subject to changes).
